We really enjoy staying at Corp parks, and this one was no exception. The lots are large but do require some leveling of your RV.
Pets are allowed at Tompkins. The standard rule is to keep your pets on a leash at all times. We found some campers would not secure their dog at their site which, although the dog may be well trained to stay, can still cause problems as other dogs walk past. Also pet owners need to clean up after their pets. This was not a big problem at Tompkins, but yet there were still those who don’t see the need to pick up after their pets. It is only common courtesy.
The park has a nice beach and boat dock. The swimming area is cement bottom which I thought was great. I didn’t have to worry about sinking in deep sand .
The designated swim area is roped off for swimmer safety.

We found out about the fire when we went to this fabulous little diner. The food was amazing, servings quite adequate, and very friendly staff. We ate there three times before we left Lawrenceville, PA
