2023 Daytona Bike Week, Daytona Beach, Florida

Welcome bikers.

There was major damage all along the beach from the previous hurricane.

As members of Christian Motorcyclists Association, we brought along our 2023 mascot, Agape Gorilla. He enjoyed rides on the beach, checking out signs and just hanging out. In February 2024, he will be auctioned off and all proceeds got to Run For The Son missions.

Beautiful scenery for cruising.

Here’s a sample of the fabulous custom paint jobs.

The streets are lined with clothing shops.

They have many campgrounds to accomadate the crowds.

We really enjoyed our time at Daytona Bike Week. Definitely worth the trip.

safety notice

Please read this as it could save your life.

We were camping at Moondance Jam in Walker, MN in July 2021. Our Class A camper was parked next to a camper that had a generator set outside. Little did we know the generators exhaust was directed towards our camper. Our slides were open and the exhaust had gotten into our camper. We were awakened by the CO2 detector going off.

If you have slides open and there is a generator next to your camper, make sure that their exhaust is not directed toward you camper.

This could have ended tragically if we did not have that CO2 detector.

We had our neighbors reposition the exhaust outward, away from our camper.

Please share this information with your camping friends. It could save their life.

Safe Camping to all.

2021 22 kill-one tribe foundation

22 Kill started in 2013. It was created to bring awareness of the high rate of veterans and first responders who commit suicide, an average of 22 per day. We attended this event which raised funds to assist with counseling and resources various individuals need.

It was a great turn out for a great cause. you can find out more about this organization by visiting their website: https://1tribefoundation.org

2021 sturgis, SOUTH DAKOTA

DOWNTOWN

Gypsy and Lonestar visit Sturgis for the first the ever. What an experience.

1000’s of motorcycles lined the streets.

From steel horses to real horses. The Budweiser Clydesdales made an appearance.

There is so much to do while in Sturgis. I t can take hours walking around checking out all the motorcycles, some of which are very unique. Stores line the streets filled with all kinds of biker gear. There are also many restaurants/bars.

One very unique place we visited was the Motorcycle Museum. From antiques to modern day motorcycles, this is where you got to see them.

We were fortunate enough to meet Senator Dave Zien. He is an avid motorcycle rider with 119 world records, 11,000 miles in 31 days and 113,800 miles in one year.

He was in a very bad accident where he lost his left leg. And yes, he still rides. It was really great to meet him and hear him share some of his over-the-road stories.

veterans memorial

This memorial is located in Wisconsin by a gas station.

A very well done tribute that tells a story of veterans. Many soldiers have given their lives so that we could have the freedoms we enjoy. God Bless them all. Here are some of the photos we took.

I hope you enjoyed this Veterans Tribute page. Whenever I see someone with a veterans cap on, I make sure to go to them and thank them for their service to our country. They deserve our respect.
