2017 Thor ACE 29.4 Class A RV
The adventure continues. We were in Pensacola FL for Christmas with Tenpin. We visited a Camping World in AL and found a 2017 Thor ACE 29.4 RV at a very good price. We upgraded from our Thor 2016 Chateau 24C on December 31, 2016.

OLD CAMPER—NEW Class C RV
You always have to start somewhere. Our life was going to include lots of adventure together with LoneStar’s impending retirement.
Our first camper was one that was put on the back of our truck. It was from the 90’s but was clean inside and just what we were looking for to start out.
I still had my horses then, and I planned to use at horse camping trips also.
The inside was small but it was a good way for us to decide if camping was what we wanted to do.

We took this camper on several horse camping trips. My last horse trip was with TETRA (Texas Equestrian Trail Riders Association).

I was injured the Saturday morning ride, ending up getting a ride in an ambulance. It would take 2 years for me to recover and the accident resulted in my decision to give up horses.
We eventually ended up selling the truck camper and buying a Thor Chateau RV.

We fell in love with the camper and it fell within our budget.
